Presentation of the project to the Caribbean Sea Commission on August 14th, 2020

BRGM represented the CARIB-COAST consortium at the 10th Caribbean Sea Commission (CSC), organized on August 14, 2020 by the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) (https://acs-aec.org/index.php?q=csc).

The Caribbean Sea Commission aims to promote cooperation and coordination of actions related to the Caribbean Sea in a logic of sustainable development. The Commission brings together representatives of ACS Member States and reflects their commitment to the preservation of the common heritage of the Caribbean Sea.

Given the current sanitary conditions, the meeting was conducted by videoconference. The progress of the project could thus be presented, in particular the collaborations between the ACS, its SANDY SHORELINES project, and CARIB-COAST.

This participation in CSC is the second after that of 2019 following which the partnership agreement between the ACS and BRGM was signed under the CARIB-COAST consortium.
